Exams and Assessments

In this area you can find documents which give you information about upcoming exams.  Most GCSE exams take place at the end of year 11, from May onwards. However, some courses finish in Year 10 and they are examined at that time.  We also run mock exam seasons in both year 10 and year 11.

Some subjects have Non-Examined Assessments (NEAs) which take place throughout year 10 and year 11. These are tasks that are completed in class which are then assessed and the marks count towards final GCSE grades.
We endeavour to keep these documents up to date, however please check with the college if you require confirmation.

GCSEs in England are graded with a scale from 9 to 1, with 9 being the highest grade. Click here for more information.
