At UCC we see educational trips and visits as being a core part of our provision. We aim to provide a rich and varied set of experiences for our young people outside the classroom. We believe that the skills, knowledge and understanding gained during an educational trip can be extremely supportive to our curriculum aims as well as developing our students' character, cultural awareness and all-round life skills. We aim to give all our students a fair and equitable opportunity to access trips and visits throughout their five years.  

This is a comprehensive calendar of all the trips that a UCC student could possibly have the opportunity to take part in during their time at UCC. The aim of this list is to enable parents to make fully informed decisions and budget accordingly for the five years their child is with us.

NB: These are the ‘perennial’ trips that are likely to go ahead – we cannot predict the one-off specials that come up every year. Likewise, whilst these are the trips that are most likely to be offered, there is no guarantee that they will be available as we cannot predict staffing or circumstantial changes. Some of these trips have limited numbers available as there is no capacity to take the whole year group. The number of places available and the method of selection will be included in the trip information sheet.
