Dear Parent/Student

The tickets for this year's Y11 Prom are now available to be purchased through Wisepay at a cost of £28.50. As previously detailed, the event will be held on Thursday 6 July at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel (recently renamed as The Barnsdale). The event starts at 7pm but students will be able to start arriving from 6.40pm.

This year, the Prom Committee of Y11 students have devised the theme to be of 'A night at the Oscars'. They have also designed the tickets themselves. These will be available for collection from Student Services.

Students can pick up their ticket at any point (once purchased) when they are in for exams and or revision sessions. Alternatively, they can pop in on any other day just to pick it up.

The student arrival to this year's Prom will be through the main (front-facing) entrance to their events venue. Stu Williamson and his team will also be in attendance to take photos as students arrive as well as whole-year-group shots on the rear lawn. This means that students will require a quicker drop-off in order that vehicles can then continue out the other end. To this end, I would like to apologise for the delay in the opening up of Wisepay. The hotel is now under new ownership and as such, things have taken us a little longer than normal to sort.

We look forward to welcoming Year 11 there for what we hope will be an enjoyable and memorable evening.
