House System

There are six Houses within the college, one form per year group. This gives some vertical identification within the school.  A House Cup is awarded at the end of the academic year.  The Houses are named after famous inventors to take account of our technology status and have a House colour allocated.  There will be House Assemblies once a term and Houses will be split into house tutor groups containing students from Yr 7 – Yr 11.  Each House will have a male and female House Captain.  Points will be gained for Houses by sports competitions, inter-form competitions and achievements.
