Exams and Assessments

In this area you can find documents which give you information about upcoming exams and controlled assessments.  Most GCSE exams take place at the end of year 11, from May onwards. However some courses finish in Year 10 and they are examined at that time.  We also run mock exam seasons in both year 10 and year 11.
Controlled assessments take place throughout year 10 and year 11. These are tasks that are completed in class which are then assessed and the marks count towards final GCSE grades.
We endeavour to keep these documents up to date, however please check with the college if you require confirmation.

GCSEs in England are being reformed and will be graded with a new scale from 9 to 1, with 9 being the highest grade. Click here for more information.
