Dear Parents & Guardians,

We are still struggling with a large amount of lost property, particularly in PE. We do collect this up and return it to students when items are named but we have a significant number of items that are unclaimed because there are no names on them – including some quite expensive trainers!  We will be putting this out on display in the next couple of weeks for students to check but we will be disposing of it at the end of term. If your son/daughter has lost items please will you tell them to check – and please write a name on any item that comes into school.

My usual plea for calm in the car park is out for another airing! With the numbers of parents collecting at the end of the day I would ask that everyone has some patience with the buses and with each other. Also please do not park on the verge going down to Lyddington as the drivers cannot see clearly when trying to exit the car park.

The Children in Need day was a fantastic event as usual and our current total is £2,340 but still counting!

Please find attached a consultation paper from Rutland LA about post 16 transport funding.
