Friday 7th October 2016

Dear Parents & Guardians,

I was delighted to welcome Professor Steven King from Leicester University to the college last night to present the NACE Award [National Association for Able Children in Education]. This is a very prestigious award as recognition for all the hard work done in the college to provide extra opportunities and high quality teaching at all levels.

We are currently looking to appoint a new college governor with experience or expertise in finance or accounting. If you are interested or know of someone who may be suitable I would be very grateful if you could contact me.

As mentioned previously we will be showing the film ‘Kayleigh’s Love Story' for parents to preview and this will be on 31st October at 6-00pm in the Drama Studio.

A reminder to Year 11 parents that leave of absence requests must be submitted for college interviews. Copies of forms can be downloaded from the website or collected from Student Services.

A reminder to all that facial piercings are not allowed – not even with clear plastic studs.

Please find attached a flyer from the Music Education Hub about a music and drama opportunity tomorrow.
