Dear Parents & Guardians,

There is an important document attached to this newsletter that I would be grateful if you could take a moment to read.

Best of luck to Beth Raine in Year 11 who is in the final of the Young Designer competition this weekend.

For those parents who put a limit on how much their child can spend each day on food please be aware that the new vending machine does not recognise this cap and students can access it when they wish. This will be changed as soon as possible but at the moment there is no way to regulate how much use your child is making of it so if you wish to limit their intake of soft drinks then please have a conversation at home. The machine only stocks drinks that comply with school food guidelines but you may have your own views on what your child drinks during the day.

We are experiencing some issues with uniform, especially shoes and trousers. There is still some time to go before the end of term and the increase in the use of canvas shoes in particular is not appropriate. Please be aware that we may remove privileges such as free time at break and lunchtimes if a student is deliberately flouting the uniform rules.

A reminder to Year 10 parents that the date for the Parents Consultation Evening is 6th July.
