Dear Parents & Guardians,

This has been an extremely busy week as the Year 10 exams have been quite ‘full on’ but I have been very impressed by the mature way that students have coped. And on that subject of exams the Year 11 students begin their study programme on Thursday, which is a combination of GCSE exams, revision sessions and home study. We do impress upon the KS3 students that there are exams taking place all around the site from now until June 27th  [ that is correct – the GCSE exam time frame is now spread over 6 working weeks] and that they must respect the seriousness of this, remaining quiet and sensible around the site. I would appreciate your support by discussing this at home. It will be their turn all too soon!

Congratulations to Alistair Hall who has had his story published in a book celebrating Shakespeare’s 400th Anniversary. Well done Alistair.
