Friday 6th May 2016

Dear Parents & Guardians,

The college was represented by a group of Year 7 students this week at the ceremony granting the Freedom of Uppingham to the 2nd Royal Anglian Regiment which was a very impressive event.

Congratulations this week to Ollie Berridge and Alice Kirby for their outstanding results in the National Kangaroo Maths Challenge and also to Karis Haughton-Brown in 8BM who won the British under 13’s Judo championship. Josh Bryan has become the National Read for My School Pioneer in the ‘Read for My School’ in the Year 7-8 category – chosen from over 400 nominations. Josh will travel to London to receive his award in June. Well done everyone.

We have a large number of boys and girls Rugby tops going begging – they are second hand but in very good condition. If you would like one  - or several – please let us know.

Please find attached information on an event coming up titled 'An African Dream' an evening of joyous music and songs on Friday, 20 May.
