GCSE Results


Once again Uppingham Community College is delighted with the exceptional achievements of its students in their GCSE exam results.  65% of  students gained 5 or more A* - C grades, including English and Maths, with significant successes for a number of students. Amy Hall, Lucy Collins, Hannah Rhodes, Kit Chan, Scarlett Kennedy, Angela Wilson, Alex Mapletoft, Lizzie Waring and Tala Martelli all gained an impressive 10 or more A*/A grades. Felix Bluche, Jonathan Collins, Rebecca Haley, Zelna Weich, Lizzie Hulse, Amy Shorley, Karalaini Kataiwai, Tom Beach, Anna Sedgwick, Lucy Mann, Charlie Middleton, Daniel Bennett, Sam Thompson, Joely Donmall, Erin Smith and Rhys Hill all gained 7 or more A*/A grades. 25% of the students gained at least 3 or more A/A* grades and over 50% of the students gained at least 1 A*.  The Maths department are delighted with their fantastic 84% A*-C and almost other subjects have seen an increase upon last year’s results.
