Thank you for all your feedback throughout the consultation period. As you know the rationale behind Harington School is that it is a school which has been developed for the young people of Rutland, and with this in mind we have listened to you and extended our curriculum offer.

In addition to the previously advertised subjects we will now be offering the following courses; Music, Art, Sports Science, Computer Science, Psychology and Philosophy and Ethics. The new course booklet can now be viewed and downloaded here ( . Due to these additions, if applicants wish to change their course choices please fill out the online re-submission form here ( or download the paper form here (see attached word doc).

Towards the end of March, a random selection of students will be invited to take part in a focus group to discuss the Harington School uniform. If you have any views on this matter that you would like us to consider then please email Over the next few weeks, applicants will be invited to meet Mr Jay Lockwood to discuss their application. If you can’t make the meeting for any reason then please email Mr Lockwood will also be available by appointment to meet parents and guardians, please email to arrange a meeting.

On Thursday 23 April, the Harington Team will be holding a meeting in The Mess at the Cosy Club, Stamford at 6.30pm for students and parents/guardians to meet the team and have all their questions answered.
