Year 7 National Cross Country Finals
For the first time ever Rutland has entered a Year 7 team into the National Schools Cross Country Finals taking place on Saturday 25th March at Prestwold Hall near Loughborough. Twelve UCC students have been selected to represent Rutland so we wish them luck in these races. The event is being streamed live on the website below so if you happen to be near a computer tune in for the races.

Missing Playing Kits
We are currently preparing our team kits for the Don Bosco tour at Easter and we have noticed we have a lot of playing shirts missing. This is where students have taken them home after fixtures and forgotten to return them.

Tennis Open Day Sunday 2nd April
Uppingham Community Tennis Club will be hosting an Open Day on the 2nd April on the Tennis courts here at UCC.

    Equestrian for Beginners (Year 7 & 8 Students)
  • If any students are interested in attending Mere Lane riding stables for a day of horse maintenance and horse riding (for beginners only please) for the Activity Day in July please let Mr Lewin/Mrs Thomas know.
  • The cost for the day (10am - 3pm) will be £27 per student.The funds need to be paid to secure the booking.
Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Training Expedition
  • Please note: All route plans for students going out on the Bronze Practice Expedition on the 1st-2nd April must be returned by Monday 27th March.
  • All consent forms for this expedition must also be returned by Monday 27th March.
  • Late forms will not be accepted for this Expedition.
 
Run For Rutland - Saturday 1st April 2017
 As part of the 20th anniversary of the Independence of Rutland, the charity For Rutland is holding a sponsored Fun Run.
  • For Rutland raises funds to pay for specialist advisors, who provide free, non-medical advice to people of all ages, who are living with long term conditions in Rutland and the surrounding community.
  • Venue - The Rutland Showground, Oakham Burley Park Way, Oakham LE15 6US
  • 9.00am - Primary Schools Run
  • 9.15am - Secondary Schools Run
